Capitol Hill Legislative Fly-In Day

Oregon’s Wild Harvest CEO, Mark Vieceli and Director of Sales, Dylan Elmer, recently traveled to Washington, DC to advocate for the supplement industry alongside the NPA (Natural Products Association), the nation’s largest and oldest nonprofit organization dedicated to the natural products industry. Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley was also there in support of expanding and protecting access to preventative healthcare through sound, consistent policy.
NPA members gathered on Capitol Hill for Legislative Fly-In Day, urging Congress to revise the drug preclusion clause to protect innovation in the supplement industry, expand consumer access through tax-advantaged accounts, and strengthen FDA oversight for national consistency. Supply chain resilience and bolstering domestic manufacturing also took center stage.
The coordinated group of advocates campaigned for regulatory consistency, asking Congress to protect consumer access to dietary supplements while maintaining a policy framework rooted in scientific evidence and national consistency.
As a passionate, family-owned and operated company, Oregon’s Wild Harvest is committed to making pure, potent, herbal supplements accessible to everyone and is proud to be part of this vital movement. Here’s to a healthier future for all.
