The primary function of the Farm Manager is planning, coordinating and oversight of all farming operations. The Farm Manager must have a thorough understanding of Organic farming methods, including a good understanding of all guidelines presented by OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute), which is accredited by USDA organic. These regulations include the regulatory text administered by the USDA and the NOP (National Organic Program).
The primary function of this job will require worker to follow all SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure all products are compliant with our exceptionally high manufacturing standards and product is available to ship as scheduled.
Responsible for ensuring all customer orders are pulled, packaged, and shipped in accordance with Oregon’s Wild Harvest Standard Operating Procedures. This is to be done accurately and in a timely manner.
The main purpose of this position is to provide support in all activities related to planting, growing and harvesting annual crops on the OWH farm properties, as directed by the Director of Farm Operations and following all regulatory and safety policies and practices.
