Help my colitis Flare up.

Slippery Elm

I love it. Oregon’s Wild Harvest is the best brand I have ever tried. It mixes up a nice consistency not slimy. I warm about one ounce of water in a small juice size glass in the microwave for 11 seconds, then add about one teaspoon of Slippery Elm, stir well and drink. If too thick I spoon it. I use a heaping plastic baby spoon so to not to break the glass. I have GERD. So take as needed usually about an hour or two after eating. Have also brought your beet powder that is good and ( not imported). Love that this is an Oregon company.

Smells like brown sugar

We are using it for horses with ulcer issues, they love the taste and gobble it up. Not sure if it’s helping yet as it’s only been a couple weeks and we aren’t sure on the dose. Only doing 4 teaspoons per horse per day to start,
